@xxxAlain The FDA doesn't take into? account the calories spent in the gym. I spend 2 hours in the gym and burn roughly 1,500 calories. The FDA number is good for normal people with average everyday lives and is always being quoted. You start with BMR, in my case at 195 lbs I need 2765 calories to exist. And 2 hours in gym, take away 1500 calories. I end up with 1265 calories for the day. After a few day I'll die. There are ratios for protein, carbs and fats - google macronutrient ratio.
