@wobblyopp They are movements that engage 2 or more joints of the body.. For example a 'pushup' is a compound movement because it engages the shoulder and the elbow.. In opposition to a 'compound' movement is an 'isolation' movement.. An isolation movement only engaes one joint within an exercise.. For example a Bicep Curl.. You only using one joint required for the movememt.. the elbow joint.. Compound movements? are recomended because they engage more muscles...

I weigh 226 When i first came here to albuquerque i weighed 160 then My wife's mom kept cooking all this good food dude and it seriously bumped me up from 160 all the way to 247 I weighed 247 dude lol I have been killing myself to lose this weight now i'm 226 so i lost what 20 something pounds and I got a huge nice frame from being so fat. I? chose where I wanted to stop and now I'm sketching my body out with workouts because I like how big I am. :)
