I'm in agreement with so many of the comments, we're all? on the same page when talking about Muse. Even over 10 yrs ago Matt was creating brilliant, mature, and emotionally charged art, and he just gets better and better with lyrics and composing. Performance is off the charts. as with the unfortunate, the ignorant will always be with us. Discovering the contents of Chauvet Caves informs us of man's earliest needs to tangibly replicate his world. The works are captivating and awe-some. If the film words and music freak you out, try turning off the sound? and notice the difference without outside stimulation.

I'm in agreement with many of you who so eloquently described this experience of watching watching "Cave of Forgotten Dreams." The film definitely induces a haunting sense of individual participation in human history. I thought, "what are we leaving behind?" after the? film I wanted to be more deeply andd actively aware of such things. Another thing I appreciated was the beautiful music in the film. In the special features there is a documentary about the music which you might also enjoy.

I don't think he's saying that this cave in particular is THE origin of human culture. It's more that this cave is the earliest know use of figures, symbols. So, it represents the birth of art, it is not the birth of art itself as some singular event. But it speaks of a first times? when man wished to express something greater than himself. Personally, I found this film incredibly powerful.
