I agree it's impossible to compare different generations of bodybuilders but it's gunna happen anyways.? 30 years from now there will by a guy who makes Ronnie look like a little kitten but still people will always compare old legends with new ones. The only real reason bodybuilders of the 80's were better than the 70's, and bodybuilders of the 90's were better than ones of the 80's is because of drug advancements obviously. I don't know why people keep posting these videos. Its like asking whats better and faster F40 from the 80s? vs a modern Ferrari Enzo. Lee was a great champ but Ronnie would squash him every single time. The only 2 guys that should ever be compared to Ronnie Coleman is 1996 Dorian Yates, 1998 Flex Wheeler vs 1998 Ronnie. @Faelian6t5 to be honest, bodybuilding is more in the mainstream than it ever was. Just take a look at what it was like in? the 70s; no one knew about it, and there were hardly any large gyms, supplements, or fitness organizations. But I do agree with what you're saying about the hgh stomachs, I have nothing against Ronnie or any of those guys, but most guys just look too blocky because they don't have flat stomachs or small waistlines, not very graceful or elegant anymore.

Couldn't agree more, back then they were on that edge of looking like freaks. Now, most bodybuilders look ridiculous. The judging is what screwed up the sport, the athletes just follow suit and build a body that they think the judges are looking for. Although I do like Kai Greene.? Big fan of Yates but I think Flex Wheeler may have had the best build.

Haney just might be my all-time favourite Mr. Olympia. As a total package, he was THE MAN. many younger fans don't fully know how amazing Lee appeared when he? stood onstage in top condition. At the time, he was considered huge, AND he also had clean, tight lines. As well, nothing ever bad was muttered about ol' Lee. A good guy with a big heart. Although I love Yates and his era, I feel bodybuilding began to veer towards a bad place when Haney and his peers retired.

I was just devastated when Eva Gabor died. She was the main reason that I watched this show. If she had ever left the show, I would have stopped watching it. Eva may be gone ( it'll be exactly 17 years this Fourth of July since she passed away), but she's definitely not forgotten. To me, she is still alive and she's here today in spirit. And?
