i want to work out my whole body. i have done these exercises before 5 or 6 times and it really worked out. but what i really need now is to lose wheight, especially from my thighs. i have started eating healthier and less and i? want to start doing pilates 5 days a week. should i do this kind of exercises everyday or would you recommend combining some of your other exercises in my programm?

Of? course you are correct. We don't pretend to offer any medical advice here. However the person prefaced their question with the point that their medical professional had recommended that they do Pilates. Your point is well made their Physiotherapist needs to give specific direction.

That is odd, I have no idea why this has happened. I have had no other reports of problems. We are testing out reloading better resolution videos this? may resolve the issue you had.

I am surprised you have given this answer without checking if there are any further issues with the back. What about x-rays and their results? If there is any pain - is it beacuse of the exercise? What about wieght, current fitness level, etc. etc. A lot more questions need to be asked before suggeting you? use ANY pilates program.

If your physio has suggested Pilates then you are at the right place! If you experience any pain stop immediately.? We have a number of Pilates routines from easy to intense. Listen to your body. Part of the reason for this site is that I have a back injury myself and Pilates and swimming has helped me get back to normal. This is a permanent change of lifestyle for you once you have built up your strength you will need to do this 2-3 times a week all the time. You may also want to try some Yoga.
