Speaking of cows: I? don't know, GROWTH HORMONE filled chowder perhaps? I used to live on a farm. Cows do not just live on grass. And proteins are meant to be divided into amino acids to supply the body with, so you can rebuild muscle (e.g. leucine, which is an amino acid) and tons of other things. If your protein is converted into energy, then it's time to carb up. Where is the protein though? Show me three examples of Raw foods with protein contents past 4 grams per 100 gram of food.

The only wrong way, in my opinion, is sodium enriched, sugar laden, highly processed "food". Every person eats at least some cooked food. Every person also eventually dies. Are we really supposed to believe that this is just a crazy coincidence? Your entire story is falling apart at the seams. In fact, the more cooked food a person eats, the sooner they die. The leading cause of death in? the U.S. is heart disease, which is a direct result of eating cooked food. Type 2 diabetes...caused by cooked (refined, anyway) food.

Also, I would like to point out that a raw food diet would be detrimental for someone over the age of 50, as a lot of gas is produced from raw foods which is very harmful for someone over 50. Contrary to popular belief, certain raw foods are more difficult? to digest than cooked foods. I was looking for answers in order to be truly healthy and now I've found them. Good vid! I think a good way to see it is to ask if it's really delicious to you in it's raw state. For ex; raw ripe mango is beautiful. Raw cabbage though? Ack! High raw with some steamed veggies etc is great healthwise. If you wanna go 100% it's definitely healthy and doable in the long term but you'd wanna do a more 80/10/10 style of eating to make sure you get enough calories. Dates? are awesome btw, I eat 20 or 30 a day regularly. Fruit sugar and refined sugar are whole different beasts!

What you are saying is not strictly true for all foods. I agree some and probably most raw foods are better raw but there are some foods that only have important enzymes released IF they are? cooked. Note that I am not against raw food, I am just saying 100% raw food is not in my opinion the way forward and they a balance is most likely the better approach - I will do a video about this in the future. I am not saying raw foods are not healthy, because of course they are. I believe a 100% raw food diet is not the best way to proceed because certain foods are better for you when cooked e.g. the goodness actually comes out with cooking. Is a 100% raw diet healthy. I sincerely believe it isn't right for me. I am not putting down anyone else, just stating my opinion. ? I have researched this extensively. I have found people have very strong opinions here so I do not want to step on anyone toes. If it works for you great. I will do a video in a while showing you some examples of how CERTAIN (not all) foods are better for you when they are cooked. I agree a lot of raw food is healthy, I am saying 100% is not the way to go. hope this clarifies.

Hi Tim. I don't know if you have a moral issue with eating meat, but it you didn't there is a type of food that moves quickly through the digestive system like veg does. Though it is meddled with like any other food in the name of greed, supplementing a limited amount of fish could be of benefit to you. BTW i don't mean things like shellfish or catfish. I really love this video and the? message it sends out. Although it's promoting a raw lifestyle, it doesn't pull you in through glitz and unbelievable promises. It provides you info thru science and personal experience. It doesn't promote a pill or a miracle cure, just a healthier way of eating. Although, I do wish the youtube user allowed the physician to finish at the end to furthur explain her case on cooked foods. It's better to have both sides of the story to build your own opinion. =)

I just would hate to see the day where? there is pressure for a raw food expert or chef or whatever to look totally vibrant and happy all the time.
