In order for a federation to send representatives to world standard competitions by the IWF, they must come under the same WADA restrictions as the international competitions do, in and out of competition. This is what is on paper.. if things are? enforced in clear view of everyone, is a different story! I enjoy watching these guys train, and they always have this great attitude, always willing to learn more and better themselves, not only as lifters but as athletes. Watching dudes like Zhang and Zhiyong train with injuries and be all like "well shit happens sometimes, what are you gonna? do, still got to train" makes me think twice about whining about my aching joints to my coach. Truly inspirational stuff.

Hey guys, I just need some advice. I want to gain weight and muscle again. I'm female, 5'5'' (165cm) tall and 59kg (9st 4lb). I've been told I have naturally fast-twitch muscle fibres? (i used to sprint) so can gain muscle quite easily. But my problem is I have lost it all as I don't eat the right things to maintain it (being a stressed student does not help). A "split" jerk is where the bar is received with the legs split fore and aft. This is what almost everybody does. If you want to see prime split jerks check out Galabin Boevski and Szymon Kolecki. Those guys are money with the? split jerks.

Yes all jerks take power to drive the bar up, but APatriarca1 was referring to the name of the jerk style. A "power" jerk is a jerk style where the lifter's feet remain in place following the upwards drive of the bar, and the bar is received in a? partial squat position (above parallel). Good examples are Pyrros Dimas and Kakhi Kakhiashvili. A "squat" jerk is just like a power jerk but the bar is received in a full squat position. Examples are Zhan Xugang and Lu Xiaojun.

I love that Jon is a good lifter, but the blatant arrogance on the platform is kind of distasteful in my opinion. Not saying he's a bad lifter or I'm holier than thou,? but it's about the lifting not being a show-off.
