Nice work. I? did a little bit of powerlifting about a year ago and was making steady progress and by the end i was at around 900lbs in the same class as you so you are doing very well. My bench was my weak point though. My max was only 200 when i stopped lifting but I made tons of progress from where I started. Good work and keep it up.

I have been weight training for? nearly 10 years and I must say technique is paramount. My only advice to you is to lighten your weights. Your back arches on the way up not allowing stabilizers to kick in, which means eventually you will end up in a world of hurt. Never train with ego, always train for yourself and push what your body can handle. Also you lack control on the way down. This is only constructive criticism so please dont take it to heart

Barbell724 - Makes sense. I just simulated my normal pull upwards, and I can imagine they'd almost feel in the way by the time I got to the knees w/ the bar. I go a bit over 400 on deads, so far, no knee issues. I feel it more in? the lower back at this point, but regardless, I try to stick with perfect form. Rippetoe's videos sure helped a lot. Along with having someone watch you from the side as you're pulling.

From a technical standpoint, it looks like your feet are slightly too wide. If you look at your knees they are? coming inwards to compensate. Try moving your feet in slightly, so that your knees can tract properly. If you find it a problem, move your toes outwards so they are at an angle. You're losing leg drive and speed doing it the way you currently are, oh and stop hitching. Your hitching slightly on your reps when they get hard, very slightly. Good luck!

@fliesenfuzzi how does his squat resemble a good morning when rising? its good form, he is perfect poisition to utilize his hips for driving it up.. dont know how you do a good morning, but i? get my chest more parallel with the ground not at a 45 or how he was.
